Our two dogs have been boarding here for over 6 years. Mike and Sharon are very caring and knowlegable and I wouldn't trust anyone else with our pets. I love being able to go on a trip and feel happy with where our pets are. highly recommended!

Our two dogs have been boarding at Sun Golden Kennels for over 6 years now. I never have to worry about their care, Mike and Sharon are amazing and their facility is beautiful! They have extensive knowledge and are very accommodating. I wouldn’t trust my pets going anywhere else. Always have had excellent care.

We have been taking our two dogs here for boarding for 6 years now and absolutely love this place! Mike and Sharon are so wonderful with accommodations and just the whole process from bookings, boarding, dropoff/pickups. Our dogs love going for boarding and all we have to say is “Doggie Hotel?!” And they run to the door. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our girls.

Had traveled from NJ to Wisconsin 4 years ago to pick up my handsome boy named Tucker, and now we live in Houston. He has been the best addition to our large family and my best friend, always looking to love anyone and everyone, and adds so much laughter with his goofiness. Always compliments when I take him out in public. Thanks Sun Golden!

Every great story starts somewhere—and for Sharon, it all began with a very special dog! 💛Meet Bubbles 🐶 An Irish Setter named Sherry’s Champagne Rouge CD (DOB 1975)
Bubbles wasn’t just a pet—she was Sharon’s very first dog of her own. From the very beginning, Sharon took full responsibility—training, feeding, bathing, and caring for her every day. They did everything together… from dressing up for trick-or-treating 🎃 to competing in 4-H and AKC obedience trials. That bond and passion for working with dogs helped shape the foundation of what Sun-Golden Kennels is today. Bubbles lived a long, happy life and will always hold a special place in Sharon’s heart. ❤️
It’s dogs like Bubbles that sparked a lifelong love and dedication to raising and caring for incredible dogs—and that same love is poured into every dog and puppy here at Sun-Golden Kennels today. 🐾💛
